Motukorea
In this video we fly in and around the island, showing the lava flow, and as we come around you see the scoria cone which is probably the source of that lava flow. Further around, you can see the remnants of a tuff ring that encloses the scoria cone and was the first part of the volcano to be erupted.

Motukorea shows all of the different types of eruptive deposit from an Auckland volcano. In the foreground are the deposits of the tuff ring created by wet explosive eruptions. In the middle ground is the scoria cone produced by fire-fountaining The far end of the island consists of lava flows.

In this still of the cliffs, you can clearly see the bedded tuff deposits on the left and a lava flow overlying them on the left.
